How often should I get my boat serviced?
Regular maintenance is crucial; two maintenance inspections per year are recommended in order to identify potential issues before you cast off in order to maximize your boating enjoyment!
What is included in a standard bottom job?
It involves hauling out, hull cleaning, placing the boat on blocks and stands, sanding off existing bottom paint, preparing the surface, and reapplying a new high quality bottom finish before being re-launched.
How do I know if my boat needs polished?
Any signs of chalky residue, fading, and dry feeling gel coat or paint can be signs that you would benefit from a polish or other surface treatment. If in doubt, simply ask one of our technicians and we will be happy to show you the potential improvement in your boats appearance based on a surface correction.
What should I do if my check engine light comes on or my engine acts abnormal?
It's a warning; bring your boat in for diagnostics to identify the issue promptly. Problems don't get better over time, and while even short distance distress tows can be expensive, a failing engine at the wrong time can be disastrous!
